We are looking for a Malta-based Head of Legal who will own group-level legal architecture, licensing and regulatory strategy, with a core focus on MGA licensing and slot certification, and further international expansion.

This is a group-level role, not tied to a single company.

It is a role of ownership, authority and long-term impact.

Key responsibilities

1. Full ownership of MGA licensing strategy for slot development and distribution

2. End-to-end interaction with Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) on licensing, compliance and certification requirements

3. Legal setup and supervision of Maltese entities with focus on substance and local presence

4. Corporate governance management, including board structures and internal policies

5. UBO structuring and maintenance in line with regulatory requirements

6. Close coordination with the Cyprus head company on all group-level legal matters

8. Coordination of US licensing and regulatory strategy together with external advisors

9. Building and maintaining group-wide legal, compliance and regulatory frameworks

10. Drafting, reviewing and supervising key contracts (B2B, services, NDA, employment, contractors)

11. Acting as legal partner to the CEO and shareholders

12. Preparing legal foundation for international scaling and entry into new markets

Who we are looking for

1. Senior legal professional physically based in Malta

2. Strong hands-on experience with MGA regulation

3. Solid background in iGaming / gambling law

4. Practical experience with licensing and certification processes

5. Fluent English (written and spoken)

6. Business-oriented mindset with ability to balance speed, risk and compliance

7. Comfortable operating with high autonomy and decision-making responsibility

Strong advantage

1. Previous experience as Head of Legal or Legal Director

2. Direct involvement in MGA B2B or B2C licensing

3. Experience working with international holding structures

4. Exposure to US regulatory or gaming frameworks
